A seguito di frequenti richieste di informazioni, iniziamo a pubblicare brevi articoli relativi alle leggi e ai regolamenti per il Metal Detecting nei vari paesi europei. Il nostro obiettivo è di dissipare molti miti e mezze verità che circolano su internet su questo argomento. Ad ogni membro (federazioni club, ecc.) Del Consiglio europeo per il Metal Detecting è stato chiesto di fornire un aggiornamento sulla situazione a livello legale per il Metal Detecting nei loro paesi, con un’attenzione particolare rivolta ai colleghi stranieri che desiderano recarsi in un determinato paese.

ABC delle leggi sul metal detecting in Europa – Bulgaria

Iniziamo con la Bulgaria, paese ricco di bellezze e storia nella parte sud-orientale dell’Europa. Patria dei temibili Traci, greci, romani, bizantini, ottomani e molti altri. E’ un tesoro virtuale della storia e il luogo in cui sono fatti molti spettacolari ritrovamenti di reperti archeologici. Non stupisce quindi che il rapporto tra archeologi e detectoristi sia spesso piuttosto teso. Per fortuna, la più grande organizzazione di Metal Detecting del paese – la National Metal Detecting Federation bulgara, con il pieno appoggio dell’ECMD, promuove attivamente l’idea di un metal detecting responsabile e coinvolge i legislatori bulgari in una vivace discussione sul futuro dell’hobby. Per informazioni più dettagliate, ti consigliamo di contattare direttamente i nostri membri bulgari, ma in poche parole:

1. La ricerca e l’uso di metal detector in Bulgaria è consentita (articoli moderni / persi) con il permesso del proprietario terriero.
2.  La ricerca deliberata di reperti archeologici e storici non è consentita.
3. Chiunque scopra accidentalmente un artefatto storico / archeologico deve informare il museo più vicino entro 7 giorni.
4. È vietato effettuare ricerche in un’area e in prossimità dei monumenti e siti archeologici.

Attenzione! Non esiste una mappa archeologica pubblicata dei siti protetti in Bulgaria.

ABC of metal detecting laws in Europe – Bulgaria (EN)

Following frequent requests for information, we begin to publish short articles related to metal, detecting laws and regulations in various European countries. Our aim is to dispel many myths and half-truths circulating on the internet. Each member (relevant federations, etc.) of the European Council for Metal Detecting in the United States, with a special attention paid to foreign detectives.

We start with Bulgaria, beautiful and rich history in the South-Eastern part of Europe. Homeland of fearsome Thracians, with Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and many other influences, it is a virtual treasure house of history and the place where many spectacular archaeological finds are made. No wonder therefore that the relationship between archeologists and metal detectorists is often quite tense. Thankfully, the major metal detecting organization, with the full backing of the ECMD, actively promotes the idea of ​​responsible metal detecting and engaging the Bulgarian lawmakers in lively discussion about the future of the hobby. For more detailed information we recommend that you contact our Bulgarian members directly but in a nutshell:

1. Is looking for the use of metal detectors in Bulgaria (modern / lost items) with the permission of the landowner.
2. Deliberate search for archaeological and historical artfacts is not allowed.
3. Anyone who accidentally discovers an archaeological / historical artefact must inform the nearest museum within 7 days.
4. It is forbidden to search in the area and close to the archaeological monuments and sites.

Attention! There is no published archaeological map of protected sites in Bulgaria.
